Federal Tax Credit Drops This to ~$5,915
The 30% federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC) applies to all solar components including batteries. On an $8,450 kit, that's a $2,535 credit that directly reduces your federal tax bill. The 30% rate is locked through 2032. Many states offer additional credits or rebates on top of the federal ITC.
